August 19, 2011 was launched a new unit number 8 in Volgograd branch of OOO "Omsktehuglerod" under the Innovation Program for the Development of production capacities.

Unit has been launched in accordance with the schedule of the overall reconstruction.

Commenting the important event of industrial life of the company, general director of "Omsktehuglerod" Vladimir FRANK said:

— Starting the unit 8 at the Volgograd plant - it is only one step in a major renovation that will increase production capacity by 20 thousand tons per year, which meets the requirements of our customers. We will continue to issue commodity grades of carbon black, past acceptance of the world's leading tire manufacturers. From the standpoint of social policy - is, of course, more vacancies in Volgograd, the increase in tax revenues to budgets.

In general, the Innovation Program for the holding Development designed up to 2015. It plans to reconstruct the infrastructure of production, including raw materials industry and energy facilities of company. Today, the market imposes stringent requirements, and to remain competitive, the management of holding company is betting on innovative activity and real integration in industrial foreign business.
