1995 - the company started working on the development and implementation of quality management system of carbon black production.
1998 - the Quality System was certified according to Russian National Standard (GOST R) for compliance with requirements of GOST R ISO 9002-96 (ISO 9002:1994).
1999 - the Quality System was certified in DIN EN Certification System, certified by TÜV CERT for compliance with requirements of ISO 9002:1994.
2001 - the scope of Quality System accreditation was expanded for compliance with quality system requirements QS-9000: 1998.
2002 - the Quality Management system was successfully recertified by TUV CERT for compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
2010 - the company successfully passed the recertification audit by the certification company TUV SUD Management Service GmbH for the new version of ISO 9001:2008.
Constant improvement is considered to be one of the conditions for the effective functioning of the Quality Management System of the Company.
Modern methods of quality management were successfully implemented in Omsktehuglerod OOO: SPC — Statistical Process Control, MSA — Measurement Systems Analysis, APQP — Advanced product quality planning, FMEA — Failure mode and effects analysis, PPAP — Production Part Approval Process.
Uniformity and reproducibility (which are depends on the mode of production and its control) of products are important aspects for both customers and producer of carbon black. Therefore, a statistical process control techniques based on the requirements of SPC was implemented in the Company.
ASTM identifies the target values for important parameters of carbon black, such as DBP absorption value, specific external surface, fines content, etc., which are used to control the production process. These quality indicators of carbon black allow to control the production process with predetermined intervals and process capabilities. Index of suitability Pp helps to evaluate the process of carbon black production.
The company carried out the statistical analysis of measuring quality control systems of carbon black quality during production process and in the finished products in accordance with the method of MSA.
Quality planning and development of new grades of carbon black are fulfilled in accordance with the requirements of the methodology APQP.
The company also analyzes the types and consequences of potential failures of the process in accordance with the method FMEA — system of acts aimed for identification and assessment of potential failure processes and their consequences, identification of the actions to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of failures and prioritizing them and documenting the process. Cross-functional approach is at the heart of FMEA process.
PPAP method establishes agreement of product specifications between customers, suppliers and producer.
Nowadays, TOP-management of company made a strategic decision to build and implement the System of ecological management according to the requirements of standard ISO 14001:2004.
Quality control laboratories are accredited by National Standard of Russia in 1998. It is evidenced by certificate of accreditation. Quality control laboratories analyze the product quality and production processes. Metrological Service is accredited to carry out calibration works by Omsk center of standardization metrology and certification in 1997.
The main strategic goal of Omsktehuglerod Quality Policy — a mutually beneficial partnership with customers, suppliers and other business partners for meeting the needs and expectations of all stakeholders: customers, suppliers, company, staff and community. The experience of the company in quality policy can be useful for enterprises in various economic sectors.
